14th April 2026 | IDC Security and Trust Forum Japan 2026
As Japanese companies accelerate their AI-driven transformation in 2026, establishing trust and maintaining security across the entire digital ecosystem will be essential to ensuring business sustainability. According to IDC Worldwide research, the emergence of generative AI and automation technologies is expected to boost global productivity by $1 trillion by 2026. Furthermore, Japan's security solutions and services market is undergoing a structural transformation centered on generative AI, zero-trust frameworks, and platform-based security models, with significant growth expected across the market.
While corporate IT environments are undergoing major changes driven by generative AI and cloud computing, increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, stricter regulations, and the challenge of ensuring trust remain pressing issues for information systems departments.
IDC Security & Trust Forum 2026, Japan will explore these critical issues under the theme: “Securing AI-Powered Business: Navigating the new frontier of trust, compliance, and innovation”
IDC analysts and industry leaders will share the latest insights and case studies, offering recommendations on security measures that corporate IT departments should prioritize and how to build a sustainable security system.
